Merry Christmas Wishes to You From Me and My Family. Thank you for your continued support of me and my blog! I love creating recipes and sharing them with you all.
“May the joy of Jesus’ birth fill your heart with love and peace this Christmas season. Wishing you a blessed and Merry Christmas.”

Merry Christmas friends! I want to wish you a very Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! Thank you so much for following along with my blog and making my recipes. I appreciate it more than you will ever know!
I wanted to share our Christmas card with you guys despite the fact we didn’t get one single good family picture of us this year. haha My little guy was a little worn out at the wedding reception where we took the above picture. But it’s the best we have of us all this year!
Favorite Christmas Treats on Love to be in the Kitchen:
Your top 3 favorite Christmas Treats in this order are…
Which of those have you made or want to make?
What do you have planned for your menu on Christmas day? Here are my favorites for Christmas!
Tater Tot Breakfast Casserole (the best part is you can prepare it the day before!)
Slow Cooker Honey Meatballs (Sooo easy! The perfect lunch, dinner, or appetizer!)
And Five-Cup Fruit Salad (A super simple and yummy fruit salad made with ingredients you likely already have one hand.)

This year has been a great year but not without its hard moments. Through the happy, the sad, and the difficult moments I am grateful for our Savior Jesus Christ who has been there for me through it all. The other day, I had a dream that I had the chance to wait in line to see Jesus, but only briefly. Unfortunately, something came up and I wasn’t able to. I woke up realizing that wasn’t real but since that dream, I haven’t stopped thinking about it.
Since my sweet dad passed away a couple of years ago I have been fascinated by reading Near Death Experience books. (Here, here, and here are some of my favorites.) My favorite takeaway from these books is the intense love those who pass away (then come back to earth) feel from God and Jesus. Beyond all description, it is a feeling of peace, love, light, and joy. They feel valued, and accepted, and realize that they have an important mission in life that only they can fulfill because each of us is unique. (Hence the reason they don’t get to stay and need to come back to earth.)
How neat would it be to see Jesus if only for a moment? After my dream, it honestly made me a little sad wishing I could just for a few seconds hug Jesus, say thanks for everything, and feel His neverending love. Then I realized that even though that isn’t possible while on the earth, Jesus is with us. He guides, comforts, and helps us in more ways than we realize. As we love and serve others we feel His love. We become like him as we pray for others, are quick to forgive, and choose to follow Him and be an example of Him in all we do.
I hope you all have a Merry Christmas! Thanks for letting me share my thoughts and feelings. I am grateful for this time of year to have an extra reminder of how important the Savior is in our lives. The joy of Christmas is because He lives!
Merry Christmas!
