Meet my favorite pasta salad ever! First I have to tell you a story. A while back I was at a church pot luck and had some of this pasta salad. I couldn’t believe how good it was and I was determined to find out who made it so I could get the recipe. We were at a park and toward the end, it started raining and everyone was hurrying to go home but I kept my eye on the pasta bowl and was able to see who grabbed it. So of course I asked her for the recipe later and this is it! The best pasta salad ever!
I added a few changes such as adding cheese to it. But this recipe is quite versatile especially with what vegetables you add and how many. That is part of the reason why Supreme Pasta Salad is THE best pasta salad! It tastes incredible with the flexibility of switching up the ingredients a little.
Supreme Pasta Salad Ingredients:
Rotini– You’ll need one pound. I like to use tri-color.
Cucumbers– You can use 1-2. The more you use the more the pasta salad makes. You can peel it or not depending on your preference.
Tomatoes– You don’t have to use a specific kind. This recipe is flexible.
Celery– It gives the salad a nice crunch and color.
Bell peppers– Use red, green, orange, or yellow. I love to mix up the colors when I can.
Green onions– This gives the salad more flavor without a strong onion taste.
Olives– I usually just buy the cheapest can of olives. If it’s not already sliced, no big deal, I just slice it.
Pepperoni– I like to cut it in 1/2 or 1/4 depending on if kids will be eating the salad or not. Also, mini pepperoni’s would be so perfect in this salad.
Mozzarella or Cheddar Cheese– I usually add cubed mozzarella but you can add cheddar instead or a mix of both kinds of cheese.
Parmesan Cheese– Makes everything tastier, am I right?!
Italian Dressing– Use whichever brand you prefer or even make your own. I like Olive Garden or Wish-Bone dressing.
Salad Supreme– THE secret ingredient!! Try it once and you’ll know why! It adds beautiful color to the salad and the taste is so much better with it!
How to Make Supreme Pasta Salad
This pasta salad is so amazing and so easy to make! All you do is cook the pasta, add the chopped veggies, cheese, and pepperoni then add in Italian Dressing and Salad Supreme. Salad Supreme can be found in the spice aisle and adds delicious flavor to the pasta salad.
This salad is still amazing if you don’t add it though. I tasted the salad before I added it in and it was really good. I’ve included in the notes similar spices you can add to the pasta salad if you don’t end up having Salad Supreme for this recipe.
Every time I take this to a get-together I get so many compliments! Now family and friends even request I bring it. This is the perfect side dish for your summer get-togethers!
Enjoy!

*Add a pinch to taste of these spices if you don't have Salad Supreme: sesame seeds, poppy seeds, paprika, salt, pepper, garlic powder, celery seed, and cayenne pepper. (Omit cayenne pepper if you don't want spiciness.)
To Make Ahead: Prepare according to the recipe but don't add in the cheese or pepperoni until you are ready to serve.

Thanks for stopping by my blog! This is my favorite pasta salad ever! 🙂
on the ingredients….what is salad supreme?
I explained it a little in the post. It’s found in the spice section at grocery stores. But you could just add a few of the same ingredients in it like Romano cheese, sesame seeds, poppy seeds, paprika, garlic powder, celery seed and red pepper. (I’d say just a small pinch of each. Add salt and pepper to taste.) You don’t have to have it for this recipe I just like the flavor it brings.
Should I use 1/2 recipe to get 4 nice servings of 1.5 cup to 2 cup..as a meal?
Yes, that sounds about right!
