you can package them up for gifts! I adapted my favorite Muddy Buddy recipe to use the whole box and I was able to get 7 gift bags from it. I would have done more at once but I didn’t have a bowl big enough so I made this recipe twice. The scattered sprinkling of the Christmas M&M’s looks very fun and festive.
UPDATE: I now have THE cutest Christmas tags to make giving Muddy Buddies to your neighbors, friends, etc. even more fun! You can find those tags HERE!

Here are your main ingredients. I used 1 package of M&M’s for 2 batches.
It’s such a fun recipe to make, don’t you think?!

I used 2 cookie sheets to cool the Muddy Buddies.

To package it, I used cello bags and poured in some Muddy Buddies then sprinkled in some M&Ms and repeated the layers then tied it with a ribbon and attached my custom-created Christmas Muddy Buddy tags to it. “There’s no BUDDY like you!” How fun is that saying?
This is a perfect gift for friends and neighbors! It’s also the perfect party snack!

What a great idea to add the holiday M& M’s! Love it! How long do think this will keep in the fridge? I want to make ahead for gifts and Christmas day, but want to make sure it still tastes good. 😉 Thanks!
Hi Kara! I can’t say for sure since it’s never lasted too long here but I would say for sure 1 week! Possibly more but I honestly am not sure. Enjoy!
These are the best Muddy Buddies! The tags are so cute too. Thank you!
Is there a way to make this without the peanut butter? Just curious I was thinking of making this as gifts for my kids teachers and I know one of them doesn’t like peanut butter
You could substitute sunbutter or cashew butter. (Or prob even almond butter.) I haven’t tried it but I think it would work out just fine. If you try it, let me know!
You could also use Cookie Butter! That takes the nut quotient out of the recipe completely for people with nut allergies! 🙂
What a fabulous idea!
Thanks! 😀 Merry Christmas! <3
These are always SO delicious! And I love that you have tags as well as the idea to add other treats to this delightful combo to enjoy at home as well as give as a gift. 😉
I made the Christmas muddy buddies tonight as well as to take to neighbors last year. These are so easy & so delicious. They’re also really easy to make festive with M & M’s or other holiday colored additions.
That’s fantastic! This is my favorite treat to make for neighbors. 🙂
