A review of your favorite recipes from February, a little from my life and dinner inspiration for March!
Oh, February! What a month it was! The highlight of the month for us was the day we were waiting to find out if my husband got his dream job or not! He works at BYU and LOVES it! But his dream position became available. It was a Friday that he would find out and I was so nervous all day waiting for him to call! He finally called me just before 4 pm to let me know that HE GOT THE JOB! I was so happy I cried! He’s worked SO hard for our family and he deserves this so much! We are so happy and feel very blessed. Now I am looking forward to him graduating with his MBA degree in the summer. It has been a lot of work for both of us but certainly worth it in the end. (But I can’t wait to have my husband back!) He also celebrated his birthday this month so that was fun to celebrate too!
Here’s a look back at February…

Becky’s Bites of Life:
My darling baby is growing up so fast! He’s 17 months and the cutest little guy on the planet! I’m slightly obsessed with him. (I’m crazy in love!) He brings so much joy to our family!
Sunday morning with my little ones!
My husband and I take turns each month or so taking the older boys out on a date. Sometimes we go with just one of them or both. This past week I took them out to eat at Purple Turtle and then to see Peter Rabbit. They laughed so hard throughout the movie. It was so cute!

Thoughts/Things I’m Loving Lately:
-I bought my husband these glass meal prep storage containers for his lunches at work. He is loving it so far! About every other week I make us meal prep lunches for the week. The rest of the time we usually have leftovers.
-I bought myself this pink 16 oz. water bottle. I love that it replaces plastic water bottles and keeps my water cold. I love it so much I bought a blue and black one for my boys.
-I’ve been trying out different protein bars lately and so far my favorite is the G2G protein bars. It tastes really good and has 18 grams of natural protein in each bar. (Costco has it in the refrigerated section.) The tastes reminds me of my energy bites which makes me think I should make a protein energy bite! Would you want to see that recipe on my blog?
What products or things are you loving lately? I’d love to hear!

Yay, congrats to your husband! I’m so happy for you and your family!
Seriously, how is your little man so big already? He’s adorable, but so is your whole family. 😉
As for St. Patrick’s Day foods, my mom always made colcannon. I couldn’t stand it. I don’t think that I would mind it so much now, though!
Thanks so much Karen! My kids are all growing up so fast! It’s a joy to watch them grow up though.
I had to google colcannon! I can’t believe I hadn’t heard of it. I’d have to try it to know if I liked it.
