Becky’s Bites of Life:
How was your 4th of July? Ours was pretty great! I love celebrating the USA! I made my delicious recipe for Berries and Cream, flag cake style! It was a hit!
My husband was in San Francisco for a couple of days for work then I joined him for a few more days. It was our first trip with just the two of us in almost 5 years! Long overdue! The vacation was a dream and so much fun! San Francisco is beautiful and such a neat city with so many cultures. My favorite things were the Golden Gate Bridge and the amazing food. Seriously about everything we ate was 10/10, 5 stars, SO TASTY! I’ll have to write a post on our favorite eats!
Stopping at Ghirardelli was a must! I am still dreaming about this Strawberry Hot Fudge Sundae. Mmm!
It was a short trip but we fit in all the important things such as Pier 39, a bay cruise around Alcatraz and the Golden Gate Bridge, Muir Woods and more. It was awesome! Let me know in the comments where you went on your last vacation! I love to travel and hope that we can travel more often in the future.
Thoughts/Things I’m Loving Lately:
-If you are interested in helping little ones learn to read you have to get the book, The Reading Lesson. My son has learned so much from it and we aren’t even halfway through!
-Last week we had a busy day where we were pretty much gone the entire day and I didn’t plan dinner. I was so grateful I had MamaMancini’s All-Natural, Slow Cooked Turkey Meatballs in the fridge. All I had to do was warm it up and cook some pasta and veggies and we had the perfect filling and healthy dinner! It was super tasty and my kids loved it.
-I always carry snacks with me in the diaper bag for myself. Nursing makes me extra hungry! I recently tried Sunkist trail mix and love it so much! The Pineapple Coconut Mix is my favorite so far.
What products or things are you loving lately? I’d love to hear!
What things are you looking most forward to this August? Do you have any back to school traditions? I always make my favorite Chocolate Chip Cookies with the grade my kids are in “written out” with M&M’s. They LOVE it!
Stay tuned for more fun and delicious recipes! I have some delicious recipes coming your way!
