Becky’s Bites of Life- Read more for a fun recap of my life this past month and highlights from the blog!
It’s March! This year is going by quickly but I think everyone is ready for Spring, am I right?! We just had a ton of snow here in Utah and it was not fun to drive in! I’m definitely excited for Spring! I hope you all had a good February. I am excited for March and enjoyed making this food word collage. What do you plan on making for St. Patrick’s Day? My kids are so excited for it this year so I want to make it special! Our favorite green muffins will probably make an appearance.
Here’s a quick recap of last month.
The Most Popular Recipe in February was…
14 Valentine’s Day Dinner Recipes
This was such a fun post to put together! I made the Blackened Chicken Alfredo from Dessert Now, Dinner Later for Valentine’s Day along with homemade bread and it was a hit! We all loved it. Even though Valentine’s Day is over these recipes are perfect for a romantic dinner or really just any dinner.
And my most popular recipe of the month that wasn’t posted in February was Boneless Baked Buffalo Wings. (Thanks to the Super Bowl!)
My Favorite Recipe in February was…
No Bake Cranberry Almond Energy Bites
This was my first time making energy bites with almond butter and it was delicious! These are such a great energy-boosting snack.
Becky’s Bites of Life:
February wasn’t much different than January with being insanely busy for both my husband and I. He is so busy with work and school and life is so busy with 4 kids we are both getting exhausted but doing our best! I’m learning to be more organized and focus even more on what’s most important each day. I am so grateful for my kids though and love being a mom so that makes me happy.
My husband’s birthday was in February and this year he asked me not to spend any money. I wasn’t sure what to do at first but the kids and I had fun getting creative! It ended up being his favorite birthday. Just a brief overview of what I did… I gave him a paper with his name and what each letter stood for like D for Daddy and E for example… then each present went along with that. Like D for Daddy had his iPad in it and there was a video from the kids and I saying why we loved him. And R for responsible had my phone in it with my email open. It had 1 email in the Inbox that said, “Delete after reading.” It had a screenshot of my email from the previous week with over 1,000 emails in it. (Don’t judge!) Then he deleted it and it was EMPTY! This is a huge accomplishment for me! He was so proud of me since he is so good at keeping his email organized and to very few emails. K was for Kind and there were coupons in it from my kids and I. He loved it all!
Luke is 5 months now! He is the cutest and I love him SO MUCH! I love his smile and little laugh. Carina adores him and loves to be a mommy to him. She isn’t even 2 years old yet and is the best helper!
Things I’m Loving Lately:
-We’ve been using Google Keep (an app) for about a year now and it seriously is life-changing! It keeps my life organized and I love it. It’s basically a place to keep notes on your phone and you can share notes with others. My husband and I share the grocery list which makes it so easy to add to it when we need to and have it when we go to the store. It is so easy to move things around on the list and cross things off. I use it for many other things such as my to-do list and blog post schedule. It rocks!
-I’m almost done with my 14-week workout program- Postnatal Slimdown. I love that it has a schedule. I am slowly getting back into shape since having my baby but am not where I want to be yet. What are your favorite workout programs?
What products or things are you loving lately? I’d love to hear!
What things are you looking most forward to this March? Let me know what you plan on making for St. Patrick’s Day or what type of recipes you are looking for. (Here are some green recipes.)
Stay tuned for more fun and delicious recipes! I have some delicious recipes coming your way!

My son just told me about Google Keep the other day & now I can’t wait to try it! I’m big on sticky notes, so I think this could be a life-saver! Love your blog!
