Becky’s Bites of Life- A fun recap of my life this past month and highlights from the blog!
**Be sure to check out my favorite recipes for the 4th of July here**
Happy July! I’m honestly so glad! I think this past June was one of the hardest parenting months of the last 7 years of being a mom! I had to learn a lot more patience! My son who just finished 1st grade had such a hard time adjusted to not being in school anymore and my boys forgot how to get along! Carina has been more clingy and whiny at times than usual. It’s been tough. But I’m happy to say things are MUCH better now! The kids are having a great summer and have adjusted to entertaining themselves when needed. We’ve done a lot of fun activities like swimming, splash pads, trips to the library, play dates with friends and cousins, movie nights, hikes, making recipes together and much more.
I am now 26 weeks pregnant! I’m so excited! Just about 3 more months to go until we meet our little guy! Catch my last pregnancy update here. I can’t wait to pull out our little boy clothes but first I am finishing decorating Carina’s room and we need to buy a new dresser.
Here’s a quick recap of last month.
The Most Popular Recipe in June was…
This cookies are AMAZING! Seriously one of the best cookies YOU WILL EVER HAVE! We’re a little obsessed over here. Make these for the 4th of July weekend and everyone will love you forever!
And my most popular recipe of the month that wasn’t posted in June was No Bake Monster Cookie Energy Bites. (This recipe is awesome if you haven’t tried it yet!)
My Favorite Recipes in June were…
Gender Reveal Cookie Dough M&M Truffles
These were so fun to make to reveal my baby is a boy! And of course they were so yummy!
I also loved my posts on 10 Favorite Picture Books (we’ve been reading a lot this summer and these are some of our very favorite books!) and Mornings with My Little Mover. Carina is such a little cutie and I love capturing pictures of her throughout her day.
Becky’s Bites of Life:
Levi turned 7! It’s crazy to think 7 years has past since he was a tiny little baby! He had a very fun Star Wars party! I’ll share more details on what we did soon. I like to keep things simple so it’s nothing fancy but that’s how I like it.
I took Carina to see the ducks because she loves ducks (and puppies) so much! She even does the cutest duck sound you’ve ever heard. I can’t get enough of this girl and can’t believe how fast she is growing up!
The boys have had fun hiking the Y and Bridal Veil Falls this summer.
What things are you looking most forward to this July? What are your plans to celebrate Independence Day?
Stay tuned for more fun and delicious recipes! I have some delicious recipes coming your way!
