Becky’s Bites of Life- September

October 1, 2015 by becky 6 Comments

Hello October

October is here and I love it! October is one of my favorite months of the year. Nothing says fall to me more than October! Cooler weather, changing leaves, fall baking… makes me want to drink hot chocolate and take it all in! And my birthday is in October! (The 16th) My birthday since being married is one of my favorite days of the year and not because it’s about me. My husband always takes the day off of work and lets me decide what we want to do all day. It’s the best enjoying our favorite things together! Plus my boys find it pretty exciting too!ย My boys are so excited for tonight because we told them we can put up all our Halloween decorations up!

My boys were so excited that I made such a cool spider dessert! This recipe is beyond easy and it’s incredibly soft and chewy. This recipe is going to become our family birthday “cake” on our birthdays now because we aren’t big cake fans!

Becky’s Bites of Life:

Carina BYUMy cute Carina will be 7 months on Saturday. 7 Months people! How did that happen? This girl is our world and we all adore her so much! She has so much personality and never stops discovering new things and doing new things. She is absolutely loving baby food. I make most of her baby food. Check out my post on Baby Food 101 for some great tips and recipes! (Including super cute pics of Asher as a baby.)

asher draper parkWe had a fun time yesterday meeting up with some of my blogging friends at a park. Asher had fun playing and I loved catching up with my friends.

September wasn’t too eventful. We all got sick with the some type of stomach flu this month and I got a cold that is just going away. So we’ve been taking it easy! I’m sure I’ll have a lot more going on next month.

Follow along with me on Instagram to see more fun happenings!

I hope you all have a wonderful October! What do you love most about Halloween?ย

Stay tuned for more fun and delicious recipes!ย

First of all, I love October, too! And I’m super excited to be living somewhere that actually has a real fall! ๐Ÿ™‚ And second, that is so fun that your birthday is October 16th because it is the same birthday as our daughter, Hazel. October is awesome! Love it! Hope you have a wonderful month!
