Read more for a fun recap of my life this past month and highlights from the blog!
Happy June my friends! I hope you all had a great May. I’m excited that it’s June now! My husband will finally get a short break from MBA classes after this Saturday and I CAN’T WAIT!!! I knew it would be tough having him gone/busy so often but with having a new baby this past year and him being busy night after night it was really hard sometimes. I LOVE my kids but we all need to be alone sometimes right? I’m looking forward to more relaxed nights and fun activities as a family. What are your fun summer plans? We’ll be going camping in a couple of weeks and that should be fun. Camping food is yummy! And we’ll definitely be having s’mores with dark chocolate!
Here’s a quick recap of last month.
The Most Popular Recipe in May was…
Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Meatballs
I’m glad you guys loved it! This is one of the best dinners to make because not only is it delicious, kids love it and it’s FAST! It takes only minutes to prepare and the slow cooker does all the work!
And my most popular recipe of the month that wasn’t posted in May was Marinated Grilled Pork Chops, again! Have you tried it yet? We love it!

Becky’s Bites of Life:
Luke is 8 months now! He is the cutest and sweetest baby! He is determined and can already climb all the stairs in the house and pulls himself up to stand! He loves his new freedom!
Levi’s last day of 2nd grade was last Friday. He was so sad school was over! He had the best teacher and made so many friends. And look how much he grew up this past school year! Crazy! He turns 8 soon and I can’t believe it!
We took family pictures in early May and I love them! I love my family so much!
Thoughts/Things I’m Loving Lately:
-It’s no secret I love dessert especially cookies! So I am extra proud of myself for not eating sugar the entire month of MAY! It was hard at first but after 2 1/2 weeks, the cravings were GONE! Seriously! I’m sure I’ll eat dessert again but I don’t care to yet. It seriously changed me and I think from now on I won’t be eating as much sugar as I did before. I just didn’t realize that sugar is in so many things!
-Have you heard of this Aztec Secret Healing Indian Clay? You mix it with apple cider vinegar and use it as a face mask. I’ve only used it a couple of times but it seems to be improving my skin!
What products or things are you loving lately? I’d love to hear!
What things are you looking most forward to this June? Are you going camping or on vacation? Leave me a comment and let me know! 🙂
