5 Simple & Sweet Toasts You Need to Try! Super easy and tasty toast recipes that you will love!Growing up toast meant to me a little butter and sometimes jam. But toast can be so much more than that and I am so glad I finally figured it out! In my recent Food Network magazine it listed 50 toast recipes and I was so intrigued! I tried out a couple then created a few more and today I am sharing my favorites with you.
I really enjoy all of these but if you want to know the truth I am obsessed with the Strawberry and Cookie Butter toast the most. Every time my husband goes grocery shopping (he’s in charge!) I beg him to get strawberries! It’s amazing!
Some of these recipes need to be baked to be toasted for a few minutes. If you have a toaster oven it makes it much faster but of course an oven works great too. With Father’s Day coming up it made me think that any of these toasts would be perfect for kids to make for their dads because it is so easy!
Let me know what you think of these and if you have any more fun toast creations I should try!
Enjoy!
Strawberry Cookie Butter Toast
This recipe will forever change how you think of toast. This is out of this world amazing!
Directions: Spread cookie butter (or Biscoff) on toasted wheat bread and top with chopped strawberries.
Chocolate Chip Cookie Toast- This toast is so awesome! Chocolate Chip Cookies are my favorite and this toast seriously will satisfy your craving for a cookie. It tastes so dang good. The toast is crunchy while still chew and with a little sprinkle of sugar and a scattering of chocolate chips you will be in heaven with this toast! I’m in love with it!
Directions: Top white bread with some butter and sprinkle with granulated sugar (or vanilla sugar) and top with chocolate chips. (I used semi-sweet and press them in a little to help it not fall off.) Bake at 425 F until the bread is toasted and the chocolate chips are slightly melted.
S’more Toast- An easy way to enjoy a summer outdoor treat in only minutes!
Directions: Top toasted wheat or white bread with nutella. Sprinkle on crushed graham crackers and top with mini-marshmallows. If desired to get gooey melted marshmallows bake at 425 F for a few minutes, until the marshmallows are lightly browned.
Blueberry Crumb Muffin Toast- This toast is my favorite one I created. I thought it up and put it together and after one bite knew I had a big winner! I love blueberry mufins and this is even better and so amazing! Ready in only minutes! Just remember to let the blueberries cool for a few minutes after baking it because they will be pretty hot. Also another thing to note is even though I pressed in the blueberries some of them might come off so eat it in the kitchen or with a plate under it. I actually like to fold it in half and eat it. This is so delicious!
Directions: Spread butter on white bread, sprinkle on a little brown sugar then press in blueberries. Bake at 425 F for a few minutes, until the blueberries look warmed through. Let cool a few minutes then enjoy!
Peanut Butter Cookie Toast- This is a yummy and easy one! I love the combination of peanut butter and sweetened condensed milk. It’s heavenly!
Directions: Spread creamy peanut butter on toasted white bread and drizzle with sweetened condensed milk.
Your chocolate chip cookie jumped out at me! I would probably add banana to it too!
