Dark chocolate is amazing! I’ve been fan of dark chocolate for years. I love how it’s not overly sweet. And not only is dark chocolate delicious there are some fantastic health benefits too!
Health Benefits of Dark Chocolate
- Rich in antioxidants
- Good for your heart (lowers blood pressure)
- Elevates your mood
- Helps control blood sugar
- Is high in vitamins and minerals
- Lowers stress!

In general most dark chocolate recipes are made with Dark Cocoa Powder, Dark Chocolate Chips or chopped dark chocolate. Two of my favorite dark chocolate products are Hershey’s Special Dark Cocoa Powder and Guittard Extra Dark Chocolate Chips.
If by chance you don’t love dark chocolate or don’t have it on hand any of these recipes can very easily be changed by using semi-sweet or milk chocolate chips, regular or Dutch Cocoa powder etc.
