I am so excited that it’s December! Christmas time is such a special time of year! I just love seeing my boys so excited about Christmas. I love being surrounded by family during the holidays and let’s not forget about all the good food!

Kale Salad with Craisins, Apple & Feta

This dish was something different than what I usually make but I instantly fell in love with it. It’s not only such a pretty salad it’s so good and good for you! We will be having this with our Christmas Eve dinner this year.

This month I will be sharing with you fun and tasty Christmas treats, delicious dinner recipes and a couple of giveaways. I am so excited! I love creating new recipes in the kitchen and sharing them with you!

Becky’s Bites of Life:

I just love this picture! I visited my sister who just had a baby boy. My kids had a blast playing in her backyard with her their cousin and all these leaves!

I don’t talk about it a lot on my blog but football is a big part of my life! We LOVE all things football. In fact, my husband is currently watching as many football games as he can get through right now as I type this. lol We are big BYU fans and despite some frustrating losses this season we enjoyed watching every game. We have season tickets and love going to the games.

My husband also works at BYU so I got to visit him a few weeks ago for a lunch date. I am so in love with BYU campus. It is one of my favorite places to be. I have so many memories there! I visited the campus so many times growing up and was so happy to attend college there. It was an amazing time. Now my husband is so happy to work there. It is the prettiest place in the world during the fall if you ask me!

Last but not least my sweet baby boy turned 2 the day before Thanksgiving! I think he had a very fun birthday! We took the train (front runner) to SLC to the Children’s Museum and he had a fun airplane birthday party.  I will do a post in the next couple of weeks about his party including these very cute airplane cupcakes I made!
