Buttermilk Syrup

Buttermilk Syrup

I don’t like maple syrup very much and so when we had pancakes the other day I decided to make buttermilk syrup.  It’s super easy to make plus fun too. It’s fun to watch the color change to a caramel texture.  I love the taste of it. It goes great with pancakes, German pancakes, waffles etc. It’s honestly more like caramel than syrup but hey that’s just fine with me!

  1. I’ve never heard of such a thing but it sounds delicious. And I love caramel! Pinning for later.
