A review of your favorite recipes from November, a little from my life and Christmas recipes!
Happy December friends! I hope you are having a great month so far and staying warm! This morning when I woke up I checked the weather and it was only 9 degrees F. Brr!
How was your November? Overall we had a great month! I’m just living that newborn bliss where I’m tired most of the time but so happy to have my baby girl. It’s amazing that a new baby can bring such a spirit of peace and joy into our home. It makes me extra grateful this time of year for our Savior as we tell our kids about the story of baby Jesus.
If you need an easy but fun way to help your kids get in the spirit of Christmas check out this fun Children’s Service Calendar. My kids are doing it and loving it so far!

Becky’s Bites of Life:
I can’t believe last month I was just talking about how our baby girl was born and now she’ll already be 2 months next week! Time flies with a newborn!
How was your Thanksgiving? I was bummed that this Thanksgiving turned out to be my least favorite one ever. I just wasn’t feeling great that day plus a few really frustrating things happened that day. But forgive and forget and move on. I’m excited it’s December now!
Asher turned 7! I took him out on a mommy/son date to celebrate. It’s SO important to do one-on-one dates with your kids. We ate at the Skyroom and walked around the BYU store. He’s such a sweet boy. I’m so grateful for him!
My baby was blessed this past Sunday. In my church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints) after you have a new baby, within a few months at church the baby is given a special blessing. It’s a special moment and our family joined us at church and after at our house.
We had a ton of family over so to make it simple we got two, six-foot sandwiches from Walmart. So easy! You can tell them what kind of meat and cheese you want and the vegetables and condiments come on the side.

Thoughts/Things I’m Loving Lately:
-What are your tips or favorite products for keeping your kids healthy? I started making elderberry syrup last year but one of my kids refuses to have it so I buy Elderberry Gummies for him. I bought Emergen-C for the kids and hope that will help too.
–This is my favorite loaf pan. I’ve been loving banana bread lately! I haven’t found a favorite recipe yet so let me know if you have a recipe I need to try!
What products or things are you loving lately? I’d love to hear!
Stay tuned for more fun and delicious recipes!
