Sloppy Joes

Sloppy JoesHave you ever watched Throwdown with Bobby Flay on Food Network?  I watched it the other day and he made the yummiest looking sloppy joes!  He called it “Neat Joes.”  I looked up his recipe and there were so many ingredients!  I don’t know about you but I do not like to buy 20 new ingredients just to make one recipe.  So I found this recipe from The Pioneer Woman which is actually similar to Bobby Flay’s recipe just so much simpler! And I already had all the ingredients I needed.

We also had leftover hamburger buns from our BBQ on Friday. And let me just mention Derek made the BEST hamburgers that night I have EVER had! I’m so proud of him!

These sloppy joes are so quick and easy to make and it tastes really good.  I cut the recipe in half because there are only two of us.  Also, the recipe calls for toasting the buns, and please do!  It really made a difference and tasted so very good!  Enjoy!
