Grab-and-Go Snack Recipes and Ideas

My kids love playing sports. They love football, soccer, tee ball and so much more. My older kids enjoy playing sports with our city in the spring and fall but in the summer when they aren’t playing with a team, they love to keep active by playing in our yard or at the park. The summer months can be brutal to stay active in because of the intense heat so to stay healthy, happy and hydrated I try to have plenty of our favorite snacks and drinks to grab and go!

My boys love to dress up in their sports uniforms and play against each other. It’s one of their favorite activities.

We make sure to take drink breaks to stay hydrated! We recently discovered BODYARMOR, a premium sports drink with potassium-packed electrolytes, coconut water and vitamins. I love that it has no artificial flavors or sweeteners and is low in sodium. It’s a healthier alternative to traditional sports drinks.

Whether your kids are staying active by playing in the yard or playing in team sports, it’s so important to keep their body fueled with healthy snacks. Below are my favorite recipes for healthier homemade snacks that they will love! These are all great snacks to take on-the-go!

And for even more hydration bring BODYARMOR along with you as well! My kids love when I let them choose what flavor I’ll be bringing. They have 9 great tasting flavors: fruit punch, orange mango, strawberry banana, tropical punch, blackout berry, mixed berry, grape, watermelon strawberry, and lemonade. It contains natural flavors and sweeteners and no colors from artificial sources. Isn’t that awesome?!
