August was a busy month but a fun one! We went camping, to swim lessons, splash pads, parks and had lots of fun with friends and family. I think my kids had a very fun summer! Life has been busy but I am excited that it’s getting closer to fall. I can’t wait to bake with pumpkin and apples. I even bought a apple/pumpkin scented fall candle to get in the mood. Oh how I love the fall! Here’s some fun happenings from my blog and life this past month.

Reese’s Peanut Butter Cup Popcorn
This is crazy good you guys! Soft and chewy and the perfect combo of peanut butter and chocolate! I’ll be making this again many times in the future!

Have you tried Bare Apple Chips yet? My sister-in-law introduced me to them and they are so dang good! Apple is the only ingredient! I LOVE crispy and crunchy snacks and to actually find such a healthy crunchy snack makes me so happy! She bought these at Costco but I’m pretty sure Target sells these too.
We went camping with Derek’s family and the kids had a blast! They love camping and ever since Dinosaurland last year they’ve been begging to go camping again. Honestly, I wasn’t so excited to camp with a baby but it turned out ok. The first night was a little rough but things got better. We had a lot of fun with family at Palisade State Park and enjoyed playing in the reservoir.
My brother-in-law Jacob just left for his mission to London, England. He will be gone for 2 years and my boys already miss him so much but I am grateful for his example to them.
Levi is officially in first grade! He is enjoying it and I’m so glad!
Carina will be 6 months on Thursday. Can you believe it!? This girl is growing up so fast! She can do so much now. She sits up, rolls over, just started getting two teeth, squeals, laughs and so much more. She has so much personality and 6 months later I still can’t get enough of her! Now if she would just sleep a little more! She doesn’t nap very often and so I’m still trying to figure out how to get everything done each day. But I just love her so much and loving on this cute girl is much more important than anything else!

So many fun things for August! Time really does fly. I love all your desserts. I’ll have to try them at our next family parties. Your little girl is so cute too. I’m so glad she joined us the other night at the Instagram party. 🙂 Congrats on your brother coming home too. That’s so much fun!
