Boo-nilla Milk

October 21, 2016 by becky 1 Comment

Boo-nilla Milk is the perfect fun and healthier Halloween drink! Slightly sweetened milk with the perfect hint of vanilla. Add it in a cup with a ghost face drawn on and you have the perfect drink to go with your Halloween breakfast or treats!

Boo-nilla Milk

My daughter is my little foodie unless it’s milk we are talking about. She doesn’t like cow’s milk and I’ve tried various ways to help her enjoy it with no luck. That is until I came across a recipe for Vanilla Milk from Weelicious. I love all things vanilla so I was hopeful she would love it and she did! She drank it right up and I was so happy. The original recipe has you add agave but honestly I’ve never used that so I used honey. It worked fine it just left a couple of clumps but you can certainly use either of those sweeteners. Another time I made it I added regular granulated sugar and that mixed in perfectly. So you can decide which sweetener you prefer.

Boo-Nilla Milk

After a few times of making this and with Halloween coming up I though it’d be so fun to turn this delicious Vanilla Milk into Boo-Nilla Milk! I drew on these fun ghost faces, added the vanilla milk and Halloween paper straws and it was perfect! My boys especially loved it. They thought I was pretty cool and they all drank it up so fast! I love that this recipe can be turned into an activity by letting kids draw on their own ghost face.

For creamy and frothy milk add the ingredients to a blender with a few ice cubes.
