Merry Christmas to you all! Thank you so much for your love and support this year. I hope you all have a beautiful Christmas and a wonderful time celebrating the new year!
Merry Christmas from my family to yours! This is my cute crew! They are my #1 taste testers and are big fans of my recipes, especially my cookies! They take after their mama and love cookies the most!
Here’s a little bit about each of them!
My oldest son, Levi, is 12 now and just a few months ago he was exactly my height and now he’s already a few inches taller than me! He loves baking with me.
Next is Asher who is 10. He’s my least picky eater and is a lot like me with his quiet personality and is thoughtful of others’ needs.
Carina is 6 and so full of love! I’m her favorite person and she tells me every day! She loves to color and sprinkles are her favorite! (If you want to read a hilarious story about this, check this post out!)
Luke is 5 and is the biggest dinosaur lover you will ever meet! He knows so many dinosaur names, it amazes me! He loves the food I make and tells me I’m the best baker ever!
Bella is 3 now! She is growing up too fast. We are all obsessed with her. She is a joy and also thinks she’s the boss of us all. haha She loves to help me add ingredients when I bake and always needs to have a small handful of chocolate chips if we make my chocolate chip cookie recipe.
And let’s not forget about my amazing husband Derek! We’ll be married 14 years this coming April! Life is so wonderful together! And he is awesome at helping me test recipes and figuring out just the right ingredients and amounts. He loves my food!
2021 was quite a year for us!
We had a busy but incredible beginning of the year in March when we moved into our new house. So many beautiful little blessings led up to it all working out and we are so grateful!
Life forever changed for me in August when my dear dad passed away unexpectantly. Words can’t describe the sorrow we have felt since that day. He was a source of so much love and kindness in my life and was always there for me and my family. I am so grateful for my memories with him and especially some really sweet moments we had together the few months before he passed away.
I have no doubt our Savior Jesus Christ has been my source of strength and comfort since this day. He has lifted me up, helped me understand and process everything that happened, and just death in general. I can not see it but that is faith. I feel it. There are too many tender moments, peace, and inspiration, that I know it is Him who is helping me. Jesus Christ loves and cares about each of us so deeply and I know He will be there for you too.
This Christmas season I hope you will take some time to ponder on how Jesus Christ has been there for you as well this past year.
“Our Savior Jesus Christ understands our pains and our afflictions. He wants to ease our burdens and comfort us.” Moises Villanueva
Merry Christmas friends!
Thank you so much for following along with my food obsession, checking out my recipes, and making them!
I wish you peace, love, and happiness!
