Merry Christmas! I hope you all have a lovely Christmas this year!
I want to take a moment to wish you all a very Merry Christmas! Thank you each so much for being a part of my life and stopping by my blog! I love sharing only the best recipes with you knowing you will enjoy amazing food too!
2020 has been quite the year! I am grateful that this year I have felt closer to our Savior Jesus Christ than ever before. As I have studied His words, (both in the Bible and in The Book of Mormon) I have learned more of Him and His endless love for us. I hope you have felt His love too despite the hardships you have gone through.
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”
John 3:16-17
Jesus is our very best friend. He is always there for us, to love us, and to understand what we are going through. He will save us not only from sin but help us through our sorrows, we just need to let Him into our hearts. I had a time in my life when I went through such a hard experience. I knew He was truly the only one who really knew what I was going through. That gave me such comfort and helped me know that I had someone who cared about me and knew how to help me in my personal trials in this life.
I know that Jesus Christ lives and that He is real. I am so grateful this Christmas season to remember the story of His birth and remember that He came to earth to take upon Him our pains, sicknesses, sorrows, frustrations, worries, doubts, all of it. He cares about the big and small hardships of our life.
This year I started writing down moments when I saw His help in my life. It really opened my eyes to see that He is always there helping us out. We just need to be aware of the blessings He gives us and take time to be grateful for them.
I’ll leave you with this final thought, being grateful for our blessings helps us to be happier and see the good in our lives. Each night when I lie down to sleep I think of 3 things I am grateful for from the day. I hope you will try it too!
I wish you all a Merry Christmas!

p.s. I love watching The Christ Child: A Nativity Story with my kids every Christmas. It’s on YouTube and it’s a beautiful short video on the nativity.
