Becky’s Bites of Life, June

BYU MBA

So many things happened in June but the best was the above picture. My husband officially finished his MBA program! He did the executive program through BYU so he worked full time but had school every other Friday and Saturday, hours of homework every night, plus group meetings etc. It was intense! I am very proud of him! He did an amazing job, worked so hard, never procrastinated, and learned so much. And I have to say I’m pretty proud of myself too. It wasn’t easy having my 4th child while he was extremely busy, hardly home, and taking care of 4 kids mostly on my own for almost 2 years but I did it! And I learned a lot and grew as a person and a mother. In the end, I am grateful for this experience.

BYU was awesome and had the spouses up with the MBA students in Park City for the last weekend of classes. There were some classes, final student presentations, but also a lot of fun and good food. I loved getting to know his fellow students and I made a few friends plus saw friends I already had. This picture above was taken on our way out the hotel to come home after he had submitted his last assignment. (Which he let me push submit, and it was such a special moment!)

Becky’s Bites of Life:

There’s too much to share about June so I’ll just share a couple of pictures.

Wedding at Draper Temple

Derek’s youngest brother got married in early June! He’s the last of our siblings to get married. It was a great day and look how cute my kids are!

Also, fyi I’m 27 weeks pregnant now! Only 3 months to go! We are getting super excited for baby girl to join our family in early October!

Levi turns 9My oldest turned 9! He had a fun birthday. His party was awesome because since life was crazy for us at the time we kept it super laid back and didn’t need to do much work for the party but it was still just as fun as a party that takes hours to plan and prepare!

Thoughts/Things I’m Loving Lately:

-There was a week in June where I was SO tired! I couldn’t figure out what exactly was wrong with me, other than being pregnant. I wasn’t sure if my iron was low so I ordered these Iron Pills and immediately started feeling better and more energetic. I highly recommend it!

-My daughter had a hard time on our last road trip so before we went to our family reunion in Pocatello a couple weeks ago, I bought her this Snack and Play Travel Tray. I spent too much time trying to figure out which one to buy. In this end, I picked this one because it was a good price and had fun animals on it. She loved it and it made the drive so much more enjoyable for everyone. It was easier for her to eat her food and she spent most of the drive coloring. One of my best purchases ever!

What products or things are you loving lately? I’d love to hear!

Stay tuned for more fun and delicious recipes! I have some delicious recipes coming your way! I’d love if you leave a comment on this post!
