April was a great month! I celebrated my 10 year anniversary, enjoyed going outside with my kids as the weather finally got warm, went on a fun trip to Boston with my husband and more! Read below to see more fun happenings from April from my life and things from the blog!
Here’s a look back at April…
Favorite Recipes in April…
Coming this October! More of an announcement than a recipe. I’m having another baby! We’re so excited! Find out the gender here.
Your second favorite was Alphabet Graham Crackers. (Such a fun recipe! My kids beg me to make this at least once a week!)
Also popular were Marinated Grilled Pork Chops, Slow Cooker Honey Garlic Meatballs, and Pesto Pasta Salad.
Becky’s Bites of Life:
Derek and I celebrated our 10 year anniversary! I love him so deeply and am so grateful to have such a wonderful husband. We get along so well, love to be together, are interested in many of the same things, and we both have different strengths that work well together in our marriage. It’s been an amazing 10 years together!
We went on a tour of the newly renovated Jordan River Temple. It’s close to where Derek and I grew up so it was neat to see the beautiful updates. (More about my religion here.) I love my cute little family! (Maybe not so little anymore with baby #5 coming. lol)
BOSTON-
FAVORITE THINGS TO DO AND BEST EATS
To celebrate our 10 year anniversary we took a little trip to Boston! (Thanks mostly to flight credit from our December California trip!) We had an amazing time!
Favorite Things to do in Boston:
Walking the Freedom Trail, the Boston Duck Tour, going to a Red Sox game (if you can’t go to a game you can get a tour of the stadium), Quincy Market and all the markets close by, Boston Tea Party Ships and Museum (they had the best gift shop), walking the North End (amazing Italian restaurants there!), and relaxing at the Boston Public Garden (they have swan boat rides there.) Check out the Boston Go Card to save money!
And of course, eating all the food!
Our Favorite Boston Eats:
Clover’s (chickpea sandwich and rosemary fries), Cookie Monstah truck, Rina’s Pizza, Ghirardelli (hot fudge sundae), Kane’s Donuts, La Famiglia Giorgio, and Italian Express Pizzeria.
Please leave a comment on this post if you have any other food places to add or things to see in Boston!
Recipe Inspiration for May:
Slow Cooker Beef Barbacoa (One of my favorite recipes!)
Instant Pot Chimichangas (Dessert Now Dinner Later)
Skillet Steak with Rosemary Roasted Potatoes (Damn Delicious)
3-Ingredient Slow Cooker Chicken
Simple Enchiladas Verde (Pinch of Yum)
Thoughts/Things I’m Loving Lately:
-Thoughts- I’d love to hear what type of recipes you’d like to see this spring/summer. More desserts, dinner, or recipes for potlucks etc. ? Let me know!
-I LOVE Rigoni di Asiago’s Nocciolata Hazelnut Spread. It’s seriously better than Nutella. It’s so good it was on my Christmas list! I was able to try out more flavors and now I’m a fan of all of them! They have the Hazelnut Cocoa Spread with or without milk, Italian Honey with Lime (amazing!) and Strawberries Wild Strawberry, love the fresh flavor (sweetened with apple juice).
-Believe it or not, syrup isn’t my favorite thing to top with pancakes/waffles with so I loved trying my favorite waffles with these different spreads!
I love that Rigoni di Asiago is eco-friendly. They use glass containers instead of plastic, the company is in Northern Italy (I love Italy!), and I mostly love that their products are top quality and you can taste that difference! Check out their website to find a store near you that sells it or you can shop online.
What products or things are you loving lately? I’d love to hear!
Stay tuned for more fun and delicious recipes! I have some delicious recipes coming your way! I’d love if you leave a comment on this post!
