Honey Glazed Carrots are a quick and tasty side dish that takes less than 15 minutes to prepare!
Sometimes I spend my focus on the main meal and 3/4 the way through making the main dish I try to think up a quick side dish for my family. That’s how I came up with this recipe for Honey Glazed Carrots. It takes 15 minutes or less and is delicious!
I used frozen crinkle cut carrots but you can also use freshly sliced carrots or baby carrots.
Once the carrots are tender, you drain any water then add a little butter, honey, and brown sugar. Then season with salt and pepper and parsley if desired. Easy peasy!

- 12 oz. frozen crinkle cut carrots
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon dark brown sugar
- salt and pepper to taste
- optional: 1-2 tablespoons chopped flat-leaf parsley
- In a medium saucepan, bring ⅓ cup water to a boil. Add carrots and gently stir until water returns to a boil. Reduce heat; cover and simmer, 6-8 minutes, or until tender. Drain the carrots and add back to the pan with butter, honey and brown sugar. Cook until a glaze coats the carrots, about 5 minutes. Season with salt and pepper and garnish with parsley if desired.
-You can use freshly sliced carrots or baby carrots. You just might need to increase the amount of water it's cooked in, and increase the time it simmers. Just simmer until tender.
