A review of your favorite recipes from November and a little from my life!
Yay for December! Christmas is my favorite holiday and I am SO excited that December is here now! Our house is all decked out for Christmas and my kids are getting excited about Christmas morning! We’ve already seen Santa, driven by those cool houses with intense Christmas light music that plays along with music and made Christmas treats.
These past few months have been CRAZY town for us. My husband has been so busy with school, work and more and as for myself, taking care of 4 kids gets tiring day after day mostly on my own. (But of course, I adore them!) My husband gets a break from school for a month starting tomorrow afternoon and I’m so excited I could cry! I feel like I hardly see him anymore. We’ll be going on a little vacation soon, just the two of us and I can’t wait! I’ll finally get to see him!
This past November was the best month ever on my blog! Thank you all SO much for dropping by! I LOVE good food and I love when you make my recipes!
The Most Popular Recipe in November was…
This makes me so happy! This was a recipe I worked on getting just right for a while and I nailed it! So many of you told me you made it for Thanksgiving and that it was a hit. Yay!
And my most popular recipe of the month that wasn’t posted in November, was the amazing Slow Cooker Turkey Breast! Can you believe after almost a year at the #1 spot the Marinated Grilled Pork Chops got pushed out of 1st place? haha All because of Thanksgiving!
My Favorite Post in November was…
This just might be my new favorite cookie! It’s so pretty and yummy. My kids LOVED it too!
Becky’s Bites of Life:
November was a lovely month. I love Thanksgiving. Gathering together with family and good food is always wonderful!
My son Asher turned 6 this past Monday. He is such a sweetheart and a great helper to me. I’m so blessed to be his mom!
We went to see Santa at the Riverwoods in Provo. It was our favorite Santa experience ever! He was so sweet with my kids and we didn’t feel rushed.
Thoughts/Things I’m Loving Lately:
-I made Elderberry Syrup for the first time. Have you tried it? It has some amazing health benefits like boosting your immune system, relieving cold and flu symptoms and more. The only problem is my kids don’t like it. I’ll have to try making elderberry gummies next time. I bought these elderberries. It’s much cheaper to make it on your own than buy it and it’s easy too!
-We got my son these Learning Cubes for his birthday. He loves it so far! My 2-year-old loves it as well! (When he’s up to sharing.)
-This Christmas I’m so excited to participate in the #LightheWorld campaign. It’s all about becoming more Christlike by serving others this holiday season. Check it out here. There is a different theme for each day which is so much fun. Here is a great printable to help get your kids involved.
-I got this quiet book for my little ones and they LOVE it! But I’m always in need of more ideas like this. Tell me your favorite activities for little ones. Thanks!
