10 Simple Kid Friendly Dinners- Recipes the entire family will love!
No need to be a short order cook with these recipes! I have made all of these recipes many times. My boys helped me go through the recipes on my blog and pick their favorites. My kids have both been quite picky. They are now 5 & 3 and have come a long way. I hate to admit it but there was a time when my oldest would only eat a few foods and refuse anything else. I would make him his favorite foods for dinner and we would eat what I had prepared that night. I finally came to the realization I shouldn’t be doing that. It wasn’t an easy change for him but now even if dinner looks a little different than usual he’ll give it a try and most the time ends up telling us how much he loves it!
Even though most the time now my kids will try whatever I make there is no doubt they have their favorite foods. The ones they don’t complain about eating and ask for seconds!
I hope these recipes help you out and please let me know what dinners your kids love! I enjoy trying new recipes and am always looking for more dinners that make my entire family happy.
Creamy Italian Crock Pot Chicken
My children have always been picky eaters. They are finally getting to the point where they will actually eat the meals I fix (they are 10 & 7!). I think that these dinners would be a hit at our house! Especially the pizza pasta casserole one.
I love all of these ideas. My husband is a “simple meal” man so I know he’d appreciate them too.
These are some great dinner ideas!! Thanks for sharing!!
These all look great! I’m adding the pizza pasta and the pepperoni grilled cheese to our meal plan next week!
You are all fortunate to have children that are obviously not picky, because my daughter would not touch a single thing on this page. Her diet is so restrictive that it’s easier to tell you what she will eat than what she wont. She survives off of plain white rice, plain pasta noodles (not even butter, salt or cheese allowed), chicken nuggets, poached chicken, potatoes of various preparations, corn, peas and tomatoes. She will eat mac-n-cheese, but is incredibly picky about it. Our family can’t survive eating that restrictive, so I often end up making her a separate meal. Even the quick fix stuff that a lot of parents keep in their arsenal for a quick meal or snack, she does not like. For example, Uncrustables, Pop Tarts, toaster pastries, most cereals, canned ravioli, box mac and cheese and frozen pizzas she does not like. I’m often searching these sites to find something that I can try to introduce her to, but every single item on these pages are a non-starter for her. If anyone has experienced this and have solutions, let me know, because I would love to get her eating something that the entire family will eat.
I’m so sorry. Keep trying. My oldest son was quite picky when he was young but will eat most things now. (He’s 13.)
If anyone has suggestions please share them to help Mike out. Thanks!
