Can you believe it is already December!? 2014 is almost over! Crazy but awesome too. I can’t wait for 2015 specifically March when my baby girl will be here! I also absolutely love this time of year! I love Christmas and even more so that my boys love it too and get so excited about it. We’ve already watched The Polar Express a couple of times, had hot chocolate and put up our Christmas tree. And of course I’m trying to help my kids understand what Christmas is really about even though Santa and presents etc. are fun. Here is a beautiful little video I highly recommend showing your family to remember the true reason of Christmas.

Becky’s Bites of Life:
I went on a lunch date with my husband to the cougar club luncheon at the BYU stadium. It was a lot of fun and the food was catered by Tucanos. YUM!
Butter FINALLY went on sale! It has been way too much money the past few months driving me crazy so I stocked up and am all ready to bake up a storm! Even though in reality I’ll probably only make a few recipes this month in order to eat less sugar and be healthier.
We went to two COLD BYU games this month. One was in the 20’s and so cold but my hubby helped me prepare well so surprisingly I did great! I am not one to handle cold well so that was nice. Toe warmers are lifesavers! The next week we took the boys to another cold game but luckily it was in the low 40’s and we bundled them up well so they were great. They had both been wanting to go to a game so bad and had so much fun! They are always singing the BYU fight song. It’s adorable.
My little guy turned 3 on Thanksgiving day this year! Earlier this month we had a really fun but simple Aquarium themed birthday party. He loved the shark cupcakes I made.
I love Asher so much. This boy brings me so much happiness everyday and I can’t imagine my life without him. He is constantly learning and saying the cutest things. I just adore him!
Last year we started a tradition of taking the train (Front Runner) for his birthday so we did that again and the boys had a blast. Levi was humming the Polar Express half the time. Little cuties!
I hope you all have a wonderful December! What things are you looking most forward to this month?
Stay tuned for more fun and delicious recipes! I have some awesome Christmas recipes and posts coming your way!

Those Grahams look amazing!!!!! I’ll have to check them out! Happy December!
Thanks! You’ll love them!
I’m so glad I’m not the only person who loaded up their cart with butter when it went on sale a few weeks ago! Happy Birthday to your little guy!! I think small parties are the best.
haha Yeah, it’s totally worth stocking up on butter when it’s a really good price! And thank you! He had a great birthday. 🙂
What a fun recap! It’s nice to see what others are doing during the month. And YES! Butter has been SO SO SO expensive! It’s killing me!
Thanks! It has been so annoying how expensive butter has been!
I’m so glad that you posted the “Share the Gift” video! It’s so simple and beautiful. I’m still in love with last year’s “What Shall We Give?” video too. I’m glad that you guys had a great Thanksgiving too! We fed one set of missionaries on Thanksgiving. There’s nothing like having two elders to help eat up some turkey! As for December, we’re going home to Michigan for Christmas. I can’t wait to see our families! I never really understood all those bittersweet songs about being away from loved ones at Christmas time until we moved out of state. Now I totally get it! haha
Thanks for your comment Karen! That is SO nice of you to host the missionaries! I was SO grateful when a family invited us over on my mission for Christmas dinner. It wasn’t quite as a big of a deal as it is in the U.S. so we were grateful they thought of us. And I’m so glad you are going home for Christmas! That’s the best, have fun!
I love to see your updates with the family. Love your boys, thanks for the recipes. Stay warm !
Thanks mom! Love you!
Oh my gosh! You are making me miss Provo so bad!!! I love your post update! What a great way to recap the month before!! 😉
Thank you! Provo has so many fun things to do and eat, we love it!
