Readers today we have another lovely guest post. Please welcome Lisa from Pebbles and Piggytails. She is sharing a SUPER easy and delicious cookie recipe. Thank Lisa!
Hi! My name is Lisa from Pebbles & Piggytails. I wanted to share with you our family recipe for Heavenly Morsels. It’s a chewy, scrumptious cookie AND it’s so very simple.
These cookies take only 3 ingredients. THREE! Life is busy enough.
My Granny used to make these cookies. Then My Mama made them every Christmas. Now I make them too. (I’m so glad Granny didn’t pass down a complicated recipe–KUDOS to Granny!).
Here is what you need:
1 pkg of chocolate chips
16 whole graham crackers
1 can sweetened condensed milk
Crush the graham crackers into fine crumbs. I put mine in a ziploc bag and crush with a rolling pin.
Mix sweetened milk and the chocolate chips in a bowl. When chocolate chips are coated, add the crumbs. (I didn’t show this exactly . . . I wanted you to see all 3 ingredients together. So make sure you mix the first two before the crumbs are added). I mix it all by hand with a spoon.
You will end up with a sticky batter. (Make sure all the crumbs are wet and gooey).
Drop by teaspoonfuls on a greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 10 minutes. The cookies spread and look shiny (like they are not done, but they really are). They harden quickly and turn chewy when you pull them out of the oven. They freeze well so you can make a bunch and save some for later.

These cookies look delicious and so easy to make. Right up my alley!
These look good. My first thought is to add marshmallows and make s’mores cookies. Might have to try it.
Oooh, what a great idea! Let me know if you try it. I’d love to know how it turns out.
A cookie that doesn’t end up leaving flour on the table? That’s fabulous! I’m a messy baker, so this helps!
Wow, graham crackers! Cool!
Oh my gosh these look awesome! Plus they look pretty easy to make so that is always a bonus! Awesome post!
Did you use the 14 oz. can of sweetened condensed milk ? That is what I used and just wanted to make sure I used the right size can. (I’ve seen them come in various size cans) Thanks so much! They turned out delicious.
Yes! I do use the 14 oz can of sweetened condensed milk. I’m glad you liked them!!!! They are our favorite.
I’m not sure what I did wrong, but mine looked nothing like the pictures. Mine were crumbly, barely stuck together, & never flattened out. I made them for a bake sale but don’t think they look nice enough to take. They taste Ok, but look very unappetizing!
I’m so sorry! This isn’t my recipe so I can’t tell you for sure but maybe there was too many graham cracker crumbs?
The crumbs need to be finely crushed and the texture should be gooey. Not too wet or too dry. If the crumbs are too chunky it can make them do this. Just an idea. I’m sorry!
should have said heavily greased cookie sheet, i could not get them of the sheet
So sorry to hear that! This recipe was a guest post and not my own. I would use parchment paper next time. That’s what I always use when I bake cookies.
