I was so excited when I received a box full of delicious Shirley J. products to try! Shirley J. is an awesome company. They sell some amazing products such as seasonings, baking products and mixes for kitchen shortcuts. I was able to try out their cookie mixes and their new product of mugging mixes. It was seriously so much fun! I’ve made a few recipes in a mug but have only liked 1 so far, my 30-second brownies so I was excited to try out their products.

Shirley J. Giveaway

Just this past month they launched their mugging mixes and cookie mixes in various Utah grocery stores. But don’t worry, if you aren’t from Utah you can buy it online.

IMG_5322The mugging mixes are so much fun. There are so many flavors to choose from!

Chocolate Brownie Cake (You can get this gluten free!)

Yellow Cake and Cobbler

Country Style Corn Bread

No-pan Pancakes

Pumpkin Spice Cake

Quiche in a Cup

Walnut Bread

These were all so good! I am so impressed. I’ve never had a better microwaved snack before! Which mix sounds the best to you? I especially enjoyed the quiche in a cup, we added some sausage bacon we had leftover and it was divine! I also enjoyed the yellow cake. I topped it with a chocolate icing (just chocolate chips that melted on top.) It was so light and fluffy!

IMG_5323My husband and I had so much fun trying out all the flavors. All you do is pour the mixture in a mug, add a little water, mix and microwave and 90 seconds later you have a delicious snack!

IMG_5305It’s hard to pick a favorite but if you know me, you know I LOVE chocolate. I love the chocolate brownie cake. I added some chocolate chips and it was pure bliss. Seriously. The texture was perfect!

Another really fun thing about these mugging mixes is that each of them come with variation ideas. These variations are from the chocolate brownie cake mix.

I also tried out their cookie mixes. Aren’t they adorable? They come in a half clear bag so you can see the mixes.  What I loved most about these cookie mixes was how easy and quick it was. You only need one bowl and you only add water and sometimes butter or shortening and optional mix-ins like chocolate chips. Easy, fast and delicious! Now that’s my kind of cookie.

PicMonkey CollageThese Coconutty Macaroon’s were amazing! All I did was add hot water. So easy! I dipped some in chocolate and it was pure heaven.

PicMonkey Collage1The sugar cookie mix was fun because usually sugar cookies take forever but these were so easy. I made some regular, snickerdoodle and funfetti style. It was so fun to just make one mix but get a variety of types of cookies.

The Soft Ginger Molasses cookies were to-die-for! So soft and full of flavor.

PicMonkey Collage2The New York Black & White Cookies are so fun and fancy! I’ve never made this type of cookie before. There is a lemoniness to them that is wonderful.

The Oatmeal Jumble Cookies were easy to make. You can add whatever mix-in you want, raisins, nuts, chocolate chips etc. I of course added chocolate chips and it was so good!

After seeing these delicious and fun mixes are you ready to win some!?

I definately want to try the Chocolate Brownie Cake. Because – *CHOCOLATE BROWNIE*.
There are a lot of neat items though – but this girl wants chocolate cake for breakfast! (Bill Cosby had a comedy routine about that a long time ago)
