I had a dot theme going on using my 1″ circle cutter. I cut out lots of dots using different shades of pink from card stock. I spread those out on the food table, used it on the invite and we used them for our bingo game.
The invitation. I made it by using the 1″ circle cutter with 3 different shades of pink cardstock. I bought my circle cutter at Hobby Lobby. I printed 2 on a page and cut it down to 5 x 7. Idea is from Super Mom Moments. It was simple but cute. I used the font Shadows into Light. You can download that font here.
I then cut out onesies on different colors of pink card stock. I used my cookie cutter to trace the first ones then after that I used a cut out onesie to trace the rest since it was much easier. You could just google on images outline of a baby onesie and lots of options will come up.
I handed one out to each person and had them write their name on it and decorate it if they wanted. Then each person took a turn to “pin” it on the baby. We just used tape on the back. I figured most people don’t like to be blindfolded so I just had them close their eyes and spin around a couple of times. Also we made a rule not to feel around the wall for the paper because it’d be too easy. It was so much fun!
Next we played Baby Shower Bingo. I made up the bingo board on Microsoft Word. If you want a copy of it just e-mail me at lovetobeinthekitchen@gmail.com and I can send it to you. If you want to make it cuter you could print it out on colored cardstock but I wanted to keep things simple. I gave each person a list of words to write out in the different squares. I did about 4 more words than there were spaces.
Here are the words I used:
I printed out all the words for me to pick out and cut each word out.
Then we played a few rounds and had prizes for the winners. Each person had some dots to use to cover up the words. It was super cute. It was a fun game!
Lastly we opened presents! She printed out a list of everyone who was invited to the party then put a star next to the names of the people who were there. That way it was super easy for me to write down who the present was from.
She got lots of cute things. I am so excited for her!
Love you Melinda!

Thanks Brittany!
Thank you so much for the ideas! I’m planning my daughter’s baby shower, and was looking for something simple, that didn’t require a huge budget or a huge amount of time. Your sister’s shower is exactly what I have been searching for.
That’s great Sheri! I’m all about simple but cute ideas! Congrats to your daughter!
