Pink or Blue?

July 20, 2011 by becky 15 Comments

Pink or Blue?Yesterday was a very special day!  I had my ultrasound appointment and found out the gender of baby #2!  It was amazing seeing our little baby.  Head to toe everything looks good.  I love ultrasounds because even though I can feel the baby it’s amazing to see the baby.  So want to know the gender?  I made these cake balls with either pink or blue cake…

Pink or Blue?BLUE!

IT’S A BOY!!!

We are so excited!  I’m so excited for Levi to have a little brother and friend and so excited for another cute little baby boy.  I feel so blessed and happy.

*For a little cake ball 101 go to this link.
I recommend for these gender reveal cake balls to use a white cake mix and obviously color the cake blue or pink. If you want to do a quicker reveal you can do half pink and half blue and then once you know the gender just use the correct color of cake balls for your reveal. Also, for the frosting use vanilla frosting.

Yay for 2 boys! Did you eat a cake bite before the appointment? And if so, was it a blue one?

What a cute way to announce! I’ve never made cake balls but I’ve been wanting to try it. There’s just so much you can do with them.
    I’m following you back!

Love this idea! We hope to have our toddler either eat a cupcake from your site recipe or this cake ball (he loves cake pops!) while Skyping the reveal with our loved ones. Thanks for sharing!

The link for the cake ball 101 recipe wasn’t working for me, though. I hope to find it the old fashioned way but just thought I’d let you know. Maybe it’s just my computer?

I’m sorry the link wasn’t working. I’m not sure why because it’s working for me just fine. I’m glad you did find it.
