I’ll admit, I’m not crazy about cheesecake. I like it but it’s not my favorite dessert. But these cookies I am crazy about! They are so easy and so good. I made these for my house party last week and they were gone by the time everyone left. They were an obvious hit.
A few months ago I found an amazing coupon deal where I ended up getting 20 packages of cream cheese for free! On the website telling me about the deal it had a link to a blog suggesting different recipes in which used cream cheese. This was one of them. And funny enough, I ended up using cream cheese #20 on these.
Strawberry Cheesecake Cookies

Ingredients:
Any sugar cookie dough you have, homemade or store bought
1 8-oz. package cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup granulated sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
Strawberries
Directions:
Roll and bake sugar cookies according to the recipe you are following. Let them cool before topping them. To make the cheesecake icing, whip room temperature cream cheese with sugar and vanilla until smooth and mixed well.
Wash and slice strawberries. Top each cookie with 1-2 tablespoons of cream cheese frosting and sliced strawberries.
